The Wife Beater is a piece of high-tier Equipment which can be used in two of three equipment slots available per Trooper. It grants 30% bonuses to both Speed and Dodge. Unlike most other equipment, it has a visual effect on the owner.

Due to this equipment being bugged, and taking an additional equipment slot which are incredibly valuable, the item is considered to be more trouble than it's worth.

Bugs

Because of a bug in the game, this singlet takes two equipment slots. There are multiple reports of troopers not being able to equip this item even with one more free equipment slot available. Encountering this bug you could try sorting through your equipment with the "Re-equip" button, this button will only be available once the trooper has a fourth item. Manually executing re-equip command via the address bar does not fix the issue.

Trivia

The skill's name was changed to "Wife Beater" in the English version from "Débardeur Bruce" in the French one, which can be roughly translated as "Bruce's Tank Top", possibly a reference to Bruce Lee .
Also was changed in the Spanish version to "Camiseta de Bruce", that means literally "Bruce's Shirt".
