Ability:

When a teammate dies, <Trooper> gains 50 Initiative points.

Used:

When an ally dies.

Vendetta is an unlockable passive Gen Ability Ability. Once acquired it grants the Btl Troopers Trooper 50 Small Initiative Initiative per teammate lost. A useful upgrade for snipers or rocket troopers due to abundance of dying grunts in one's army. Shock troops won't benefit from the ability, however.
