Don't overemphasise assault-decoy-shock-support scheme I've presented. Those are just generalised role specialisations most likely to occur naturally or with deliberate effort. It's not much of a theory, really, I just thought about giving roles a more define shape when there wasn't much about strategy around here. Plus, those models are comparably individual-oriented, i.e. they emphasise individual value of a trooper in the wave, instead of specific role combinations. Not really sure if that even qualifies as metagame.
By the way, I think this article is better off in Category:Strategies instead of basics. Basics are for elementary game mechanics. :P
