A skill is an upgrade that a Trooper gains every Level. These upgrades can be weapons, equipment, passive stat boosters, special abilities or even vehicles for the trooper to use in Combat.
Certain skills require the trooper to reach a certain level. You can check level requirements for each skill by veiwing the "Level" column in the tables below. Some skills require an equipment slot to be use, this will be noted with a corresponding item icon in the "Quote/Additional information" column. A trooper can carry only 3 pieces of equipment into battle at a time.

Skill Colors
The background color of a skill generally indicates it's main purpose.
- Gray skills are specializations.
- Red skills are offensive skills. All handheld weapons and most grenades belong to this group.
- Orange skills are largely Aiming skills. Many improve the troopers accuracy, some improve the chance to score killshots and others lower (or negate) the enemy's chance to dodge.
- Yellow skills are agility skills. These skills may reduce or remove the delay time for certain trooper actions, other yellow skills increase the trooper's Speed or Initiative (passively or under certain circumstances).
- Green skills are considered tactical skills. Some green skills behave in a way that is similar to the gray specializations. Other green skills alter the deployment capacity (either yours or your opponents).
- Cyan skills are about disarming the opponent or inflict status ailments to them. They can be both active (like grenades or Voodoo Dolls) or passive (like special ammunition).
- Blue skills are survivability skills. They increase HP, give Armor or add Dodge abilities. The color blue is also use for the vehicle skills.
It is not a good idea to take skill color groups to seriously, most skills have more then one affect on a trooper and they could be moved into more then one color group (e.g. Huge Calves). Some skills have more in common with their category group then they do with their color group (such as Toxic shells). Other skills do not belong in a color group at all, such as Battle-Ready.
