Life Points is an individual stat, representing how much damage an entity (Trooper, Vehicle or Rat)) can sustain before dying.
Non-Vehicles also have ways of restoring their own or an ally's Life Points; Vehicles, however can't be repaired or brought back into battle once destroyed.
Life Points
The life points of entities are listed below:
- Helicopter:15
- Light Tank:40
- Heavy Tank:50
Treating Wounds
Injured troopers can restore Life Points to continue fighting in ways:
- Being healed by a Doctor during combat (restores +5 , additional +1 per each new level, treats body part damage).
- Utilizing First Aid (restores up to 50% , doesn't treat body part damage).
- Utilizing Healing Grenade (restores up to 10 , doesn't treat body part damage).
- Upgrading to Survivor (restores +1 after dying, once the next wave of reinforcements is deployed).
- Upgrading to Saviour (restores all to a dead soldier once per battle, letting him join a subsequent wave).
Ways to Alter Life Points
Improving
- Upgrading to Soldier (+1 per each level, retroactive).
- Upgrading to Bait (+8 at a cost of being easier to hit).
- Upgrading to Huge Calves (+3 with +25% Speed).
- Upgrading to Brick S***house (+3 with cover bonus for friendlies).
- Upgrading to Commando (+5 ).
- Upgrading to Heavyweight (+10 with -20% Speed).
- Upgrading to Sturdy (+3 with negating Speed penalty for carrying heavy objects).
Having all these upgrades means the grand total of LP a non-Soldier trooper can have is 42 (10 base plus 32 from all upgrades), and high-level Soldiers can have even more (for instance, a level 12 Soldier will have 54)
