Unlike most games featuring specialisations and customisations, levelling in MiniTroopers achieved by earning Credit Credits. They are rewarded for various actions you can do for a day from the Small Mission Headquarters. Note that your troopers' individual performance and kills won't affect their levelling capabilities. The victory is all that matters in this regard.

The point of increasing levels of your troopers is gaining new weapons, equipment, Gen Ability abilities, or Veh Truck vehicles if you're lucky. The costs for levelling up increase progressively. On the bright side, however, within first few levels your troopers are granted additional options to customise their combat strategy.

There are 120 skills to master and 1 specialisation, technically limiting productive levelling around level 121. But evergrowing costs will let you get nowhere near.

x1 - once per trooper.
